Abstract:
Disclosed is a light source module (10) functioning as a surface light source device, provided with a plurality of light guide elements (21) arranged so as to have gaps (22) therebetween in parallel with the longitudinal direction; a light source; and support members (31) arranged at predetermined intervals to support the gaps (22) between the light guide elements (21). A light emitting surface (21d) of a thick portion (21c) of each light guide element (21) is projected further than a protrusion (31a) of the support member (31) projected along each gap (22), toward the light emitting side. Thus, the surface light source device having a high display quality, wherein a light guide plate is divided into the plurality of light guide elements arranged in parallel with the longitudinal direction, and an electronic device provided with the surface light source device, can be provided.
