Abstract:
The present invention provides a novel surface-modified inorganic material in which an inorganic nitride or inorganic oxide is surface-modified using a boronic acid compound, and a heat-dissipating material, heat-conducting material, and lubricant utilizing the same. The present invention also provides a method for modifying the surface of an inorganic nitride or inorganic oxide using an organic material, the method including bringing an inorganic nitride or inorganic oxide into contact with a boronic acid compound, as a method for producing the surface-modified inorganic material and a novel method for modifying the surface of an inorganic material selected from inorganic nitrides and inorganic oxides using an organic material.
