Abstract:
The present invention provides a surface-modified inorganic nitride that has excellent dispersibility. The present invention also provides: a composition that includes the surface-modified inorganic nitride; a thermally conductive material; and a device that is provided with a thermally conductive layer. The surface-modified inorganic nitride includes: an inorganic nitride; and a compound that has been adsorbed onto the surface of the inorganic nitride and is represented by general formula (1).
