Abstract:
Provided is a surface mounted filter (3) comprising: a first I/O terminal (33), a second I/O terminal (43), and a GND terminal (50) that are provided on the surface of a laminate (10); and a filter circuit (23) that is built into the laminate (10) and that includes a coil element (L3) connected at one end to the first I/O terminal (33) and connected at the other end to the second I/O terminal (43), and a capacitor element (C3) connected at one end to the coil element (L3) and connected at the other end to the GND terminal (50). The first I/O terminal (33), the second I/O terminal (43), and the GND terminal (50) are planar electrode terminals provided on a mounting surface (17) of the laminate (10). The coil element (L3) is disposed on the mounting surface (17) side, and the capacitor element (C3) is disposed on a top surface (15) side. The capacitor element (C3) is connected to the GND terminal (50) via side surface electrodes (51, 52) provided on a side surface (16) of the laminate (10), or via a via hole electrode (522).
