Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To solve a problem with an appearance inspection method for the surface mounting type part (31) of a type shown in Fig. 18 wherein the method cannot be easily introduced in an actual production site due to its high cost since a transmission device itself is expensive in an appearance inspection by fluoroscopy even if an appearance inspection method described in the patent document 2 can be used for the appearance inspection. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] This surface mounting type part is characterized by comprising a ceramic substrate having a first principal plane, a second principal plane, and side faces connecting these first and second principal planes to each other, a terminal electrode (13) installed on the first principal plane, and a first conductor (12) for appearance inspection extended from the terminal electrode (13) continuously to the side faces and formed in a width dimension smaller than the width dimension of the terminal electrode (13).
