Abstract:
Disclosed is a surface-protection film provided with a base layer, which consists primarily of a polyolefin, and an adhesive layer. Also disclosed is a base film for a surface-protection film. When heat-treated at a temperature between 40°C and 100°C for between 1 and 120 seconds and then heated at 90°C for one hour, said films change in size by no more than ±0.50% in both the machine direction (MD) and the transverse direction (TD). This prevents curling and makes it possible to protect the surface of a member to which the disclosed film is adhered, without negatively affecting the properties or performance of said member.
