Abstract:

Provided are: a surface-treated glass cloth with which the reliability of a printed wiring board can be improved; a prepreg; and a printed wiring board. This surface-treated glass cloth includes a surface-treated layer containing a silane coupling agent, wherein the carbon adhesion amount of a fixed component of the surface-treated layer is in a range of 0.030-0.060 mass%, the arithmetic average height of the surface of the fixed component of the surface-treated layer is in a range of 1.0-3.0 nm, and the product of the carbon adhesion amount of the fixed component and the arithmetic average height of the surface of the fixed component is in a range of 0.060-0.100.
