Abstract:

The present invention provides: a surface-treated silica filler which aims to suppress increase of the viscosity when added to a resin composition that is used for semiconductor sealing material applications and the like; and a resin composition which contains this surface-treated silica filler. A surface-treated silica filler according to the present invention is characterized by being surface-treated with a basic substance that has an acid dissociation constant (pKa) of a conjugated acid of 9.4 or more.
