Abstract:
When a plurality of treatments such as a wet blasting and a chemical conversion coating are performed, works are placed from one barrel to another as the treatment precedes to the next step and dents care formed on works through collision of the works with each other. It is possible to provide a surface treatment device using a barrel capable of preventing this. When one treatment is completed in one step, the barrel (2-1) containing the works (1) are moved and carried to the next step. In the next step, a barrel (2-2) is waiting while being immersed in a solution (6). The barrel (2-1) in the previous step is tilted to direct its opening downward, so that the works (1) in the barrel of the previous step slide along a chute (4-1), and loosely drop. The dropped works reach the solution (6) and sink into the barrel (2-2) in the solution (6). The works (1) are dropped one after another. However, the works immediately land on the solution, sink in the solution in a slow movement, and no dents are formed thereon even when the works collide with each other.
