Abstract:
Provided is a surface treatment device for which control of the treatment temperature at which surface treatment is performed has been simplified and which is capable of limiting variability in treatment precision. The surface treatment device (100) is provided with a treatment tank (110) and a heat transfer tank (130). The treatment tank (110) is a vessel for accommodating a surface treatment agent (SC) and a metal workpiece (WK) in a sealed state and impregnating the surface treatment agent (SC) in the surface of the metal workpiece (WK). An inert gas is supplied to the treatment tank (110) via a compressor (114). The heat transfer tank (130) is a vessel for accommodating a heat transfer fluid (CF) and the treatment tank (110) in a sealed state. A heater (140) is provided inside the heat transfer tank (130). The heater (140) is a heat source for heating the heat transfer fluid (CF). The surface treatment agent (SC) is configured with a lubricating oil for improving the abrasion resistance of the metal workpiece (WK) as the main component. The heat transfer fluid (CF) is configured from water, which is a fluid with a greater specific heat than the surface treatment agent (SC).
