Title:
SURFACE TREATMENT METHOD FOR ALUMINUM MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2008/041694
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a surface treatment method for an aluminum material which enables
to easily reduce gas emission from an aluminum material whose surface is subjected
to porous anodizing and provided with a porous anodic oxide coating. Specifically
disclosed is a surface treatment method for an aluminum material which is composed
of aluminum or an aluminum alloy and has a surface subjected to porous anodizing
and provided with a porous anodic oxide coating. In this surface treatment method,
a solution wherein a carbon fluoride compound is dispersed is applied over the
surface of the porous anodic oxide coating, and then the porous anodic oxide coating
is heated in an oxygen atmosphere, thereby forming a fluoride layer.
