Abstract:
A surface treatment process for a trans-gingival portion of a dental implant, comprising the steps of: performing an electrochemical surface treatment process on a trans-gingival portion of a dental implant; treating the segment of the dental implant implanted in a bone by using a conventional sandblasting-acid etching composite process; and performing electrochemical anodic oxidation and electrochemical deposition on a trans-gingival segment of the dental implant subjected to the sandblasting-acid etching treatment. The construction method can apply a surface treatment method combining a physical method with a chemical method in the field of oral implants, and features simple equipment, ease of operation, low production costs, and applicability to industrial production. The method can further induce the penetration of epithelial cells and fibroblast pseudopods and form tight interlocking interpenetration, thereby improving the strength of binding of surrounding fibrous tissue or collagen fibers to the surface of the implant; surface microstructure design of the trans-gingival segment can avoid the descending of epithelial tissue and improve the binding of the fibrous connective tissue to the implant, thereby enhancing the biological sealing property of the trans-gingival portion of the implant, reducing the adhesion of plaque, and reducing the probability of occurrence of peri-implantitis.
