For the marine propulsion, fixed transmissions with directional fin as well as transmissions provided with ball-joint are known, that show functional inconveniences and a high cost.
It is the aim of the present invention to realize a cheap transmission device able to obtain the maximum efficiency from the engine and from the propeller, to show a veering angle smaller than those of the known devices, a greater manoeuvrability in any situation and a minimum draught.
The aim set forth is reached by means of the device for the surface transmission, with variable structure and direction, for marine engines according to the present invention, which is realized in inox steel and that comprises a ring-joint that allows the transmission horizontal an vertical movements of 60° in the two directions. The present invention will be described more in detail hereinbelow relating to the enclosed drawings, in which an embodiment is shown.
Figure 1 shows an axonometrix view the pierced ring-joint of a device for the surface transmission, with variable structure and direction, for marine engines, according to the present invention.
Figure 2 shows a lateral view of the ring of figure 1, installed in the transmission.
Figure 3 shows a lateral view of the placing of the device for the surface transmission with variable structure and direction for marine engines, according to the present invention.
The enclosed figures show a transmission device comprising a ring 1 provided with four holes 2,3,4 and 5 perfonned at 90° in its structure in correspondence with the external tangent planes 6, into which the stem flange 7 as well as the axis- carrying cone 8 are fixed, while in the centre thereof the double cross group is working that allows the trasmission to perform the horizontal and vertical movement of 60° in the two directions.
