Abstract:
This invention relates to therapies for treatment or prevention of conditions resulting from direct or indirect exposure of pulmonary tissue to ionizing radiation. In particular, regimens for the treatment or prevention of conditions resulting from direct or indirect exposure of pulmonary tissue to ionizing radiation involve the administration of pulmonary surfactants. In certain embodiments, the pulmonary surfactant is KL4 surfactant.
