Abstract:
Provided is a surgery training system employing a bio-texture modeling organ that is reproduced or deformed in accordance with a surgery scenario. Provided is a system for performing surgery training or surgery simulation by using a bio-texture modeling organ in which the texture and external appearance of an actual organ are reproduced or deformed, the system provided with: a bio-texture modeling organ that is reproduced or deformed in accordance with a surgery scenario that serves as a training or simulation subject; a determining means for determining pass/fail at checkpoints in the surgery scenario; and an assessing means for assessing surgical skills on the basis of the determination results. With the bio-texture modeling organ, the texture or the morphology thereof is deformed by changing, in accordance with the surgery scenario, the three-dimensional structure of the organ interior, the amount of fat surrounding the organ, and the structure or physical properties of membranes including skin, those of blood vessels, or those of nerves.
