Abstract:
It is intended to provide surgical gauze mass and a surgical gauze-supplying
apparatus by which the handling properties in using surgical gauze can be improved
and which can be downsized and is sanitary. A surgical gauze mass (10) wherein
individual surgical gauze sheets (1) are linked along a certain direction with
a linking yarn (2). A surgical gauze-supplying apparatus (20) characterized
by comprising a casing (3) in which the surgical gauze mass (10) is contained,
a take-out opening (6) formed in the casing (3) through which each surgical gauze
sheet (1) is taken out from the casing (3), a resistance-imparting part (6a) for
imparting resistance to the operations of putting in and taking out the surgical
gauze sheet (1) through the take-out opening (6) and a gauze stopper (4) which
is provided so that the operation of drawing the surgical gauze sheet (1) can be
regulated at a position apart a definite distance from the take-out opening (6).
