Abstract:
Provided are a surgical ink that exhibits good biocompatibility and writing properties, and a surgical pen that exhibits good writing-facilitating properties, both of which can be widely marketed as medical equipment having a level of safety conforming to sterilization validation requirements. Specifically provided is a radiation-resistant surgical pen (A1) comprising: a tubular shaft body (1) that has a surgical ink accommodation part (10); and a pen tip (2) that discharges the ink at the tip of the shaft body (1), wherein the pen tip (2) is composed of a synthetic resin, and has a flexural strength of 1.0 N or greater after exposure to 25-70 kGy of gamma irradiation.
