Abstract:
A surgical instrument (10) comprises: a receiving unit (11) which includes a receiving coil (12) that couples to an alternating magnetic field (M) and outputs electrical power received by the receiving coil; a treatment part (20) which is driven by electrical power; a drive circuit (19) which supplies electrical power to the treatment part (20); a battery (18) which stores electrical power supplied from the receiving unit (11) and outputs the stored electrical power to the drive circuit (19); a switch (17) which switches the output destination for the electrical power received by the receiving unit (11) and the electrical power stored in the battery (18); and a control part (16) that controls the switch (17).
