Abstract:
Disclosed is a surgical light using a combination of an LED lamp and an optical lens, which can be adjusted in a light concentration range on a surgical site and can enhance brightness and clarity of light on the surgical site. The surgical light includes a case, a plurality of irradiation units, and a rotating unit rotating the irradiation units to adjust an illuminating angle of the irradiation units. The surgical light can achieve energy savings through reduction of power consumption, can minimize heat generation at the surgical site during irradiation of light, and can permit easy adjustment of a light concentrating range and position, thereby facilitating efficient surgical operation. Further, the surgical light illuminates the surgical site using light emitted from the LED lamp and passing through the optical lens, thereby providing further enhanced and uniform brightness and clarity of light over the whole illuminated area. Moreover, the surgical light includes a plurality of irradiation units to allow light to be emitted from the irradiation units in many directions towards the center of the surgical site, thereby preventing a shadow from being cast on the surgical site.
