Abstract:
Provided are: a surgical system that can ensure insulation between an endoscope and a treatment instrument even when a movable body is formed of a metal; and an endoscope used in the surgical system. This endoscope, having an insertion part that can be inserted in a mantle tube and has a tip, a base end, and a longitudinal shaft, and being locked in a movable body by an endoscope holding part, comprises: a first insertion part provided on the tip side of the insertion part; a second insertion part provided on the base end side of the first insertion part and having an outer diameter larger than that of the first insertion part; and a held part which is provided from the tip towards the base end side of the second insertion part, which is to be held by the endoscope holding part, and which is formed of an insulating member that has insulation properties at least on the surface thereof.
