A surgical treatment tool (1) has a shaft (5) at an end of a housing (3) thereof. An end effector (7) is provided to an end of the shaft (5). When a rotation operation knob (18) is rotated about a longitudinal axis (C) of the shaft (5), the shaft (5) and the end effector (7) rotate about the longitudinal axis (C). The end effector (7) can revolve, relative to the shaft (5), about a revolving axis (P1) that intersects with the longitudinal axis (C). Rotation of a bending operation dial (20) attached to the housing (5) is converted to movement, along the longitudinal axis (C), of nuts (40A, 40B). The nuts (40A, 40B) and the end effector (7) are connected to each other by bent wires (41A, 41B). Therefore, when the bending operation dial (20) is rotated about a central axis (R1), the end effector (7) revolves about the revolving axis (P1). When the rotation operation knob (18) is rotated, the bending operation dial (20) in addition to the shaft (5) and the end effector (7) also rotates about the longitudinal axis (C) such that the central axis (R1) is kept parallel to the revolving axis (P1).
