Abstract:
This surroundings-monitoring system includes the following: a detection device that is provided in a work vehicle and can detect objects in the vicinity of said work vehicle; an acquisition unit that acquires a command signal that indicates an operation-verification mode for testing the detection device; an evaluation unit that, after said command signal is acquired, uses detection results from the detection device to determine whether or not said detection device is operating properly; and a display device that, if the evaluation unit determines that the detection device is not operating properly, displays identifying information for said detection device.
