Abstract:
Using the disclosed surveillance camera terminal (1) reduces the likelihood of losing sight of a tracking target when tracking is handed over from one surveillance camera terminal (1) to another. When the person being tracked is not located near a handover area in which the disclosed surveillance camera terminal (1) hands over tracking to a neighboring surveillance camera terminal (1), the disclosed surveillance camera terminal (1) changes the field of view of an imaging unit (12) using the person being tracked as a reference. On the other hand, when the person being tracked is located near a handover area in which tracking is handed over to a neighboring surveillance camera terminal (1), the disclosed surveillance camera terminal (1) changes the field of view of the imaging unit (12) using a handover field of view as a reference. Thus, when the person being tracked enters the handover area, the field of view of the imaging unit (12) is already set to a handover field of view.
