Abstract:
In a suspended industrial robot according to the present invention, a base (21) and a swivel section (22) have an internal space S into which a cable (40) can be inserted. The base (21) has an insertion opening (53) through which at least the cable (40) can be passed into the internal space S from the outside. A first cable holding part (60) that holds the cable (40) is installed on at least one of a first arm (23) and a second arm (24). The cable (40) passes through the internal space (S) of the base (21) and the swivel section (22) and is routed up to an end effector with a midway portion of the cable (40) being held by the first cable holding part (60).
