A suspension arm for a vehicle, comprising an arm body (1) having a main plate body (2) press-molded to form the main part of the arm body and having a short cylindrical part (EB) integrally continued therewith at its one end by burring process and a reinforcement plate (H) stacked on one of the upper and lower surfaces of the main plate body (2) for reinforcing the main plate body (2). The reinforcement plate (H) comprises an eye-like head part (Ha) formed in a circular ring shape and arranged coaxially with the short cylindrical part (EB) and a tail part (Hb) integrally extending from the eye-like head part (Ha) along the longitudinal direction of the main plate body (2). The reinforcement plate is formed of a single plate material larger in thickness than the main plate body (2), at least the tail part (Hb) is welded to the main plate body (2), and a bush press-fitting part (P1) is formed by the inner peripheral surface of the eye-like head part (Ha) and the inner peripheral surface of the short cylindrical part (EB). Thus, since the cross sectional area of the transient portion of the arm body from the bush press-fitting part to the arm body can be sufficiently secured, a rigidity required for the transient portion can be easily secured, and the strength of the arm can be increased without increasing the outer peripheral space of the bush press-fitting part.
