Abstract:
A high voltage control device that: performs feedback control on high voltages applied to an electrode barrel of an ER damper; and has a charge/discharge controller, a transformer, and an HV cascode. The charge/discharge controller comprises: a temperature state calculation device that calculates temperature states associated with HV cascode heat generation, including the internal temperature of a high-voltage control device from a temperature detection device (temperature sensor); and a voltage reduction device that reduces the high voltage value based on a high voltage command value, when the HV cascode temperature state found by the temperature state calculation device exceeds the threshold value temperature state.
