Abstract:
The suspension device is provided with: a shock absorber; an air spring that is obtained from a compressed gas sealed in an air chamber, the volume of which expands or contracts with the expansion or contraction of the shock absorber, and that constantly biases the shock absorber in the direction of extension; and a volume expansion mechanism for expanding the volume of the air chamber in response to an increase in the amount of compression of the shock absorber when the amount of compression of the shock absorber is at or above a specified amount.
