Abstract:
A suspension support reduced in weight without increasing production costs, which comprises inner and outer sleeves (1, 2) made of aluminum, a rubber-like elastic body (3) vertically nipped between upper and lower inner peripheral flanges (6, 7,), one of these flanges being formed in a state in which it is opened during the forging of the outer sleeve (2), the rubber-like elastic body (3) being inserted through an opening (11), whereafter the peripheral edge of the opening is inwardly bent to provide the inner peripheral flanges (6, 7), thus completing the product.
