Abstract:
A method for generating chlorine dioxide, in the present invention, comprises the steps of: providing content components that consist of a chlorine dioxide feed material and an activation reaction material; forming a tablet by compressing each content component; providing a moisture absorbent that absorbs moisture in the air; and mixing and using the provided tablet and moisture absorbent together. When the tablet and the moisture absorbent are mixed together, the moisture in the air is gradually absorbed, and the moisture and the tablet react, thereby providing a product that slowly releases chlorine dioxide gas.
