Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a suture device with which insertion into the body can be smoothly carried out. [Solution] A suture device 1 comprises: a suture part at the distal end of a sheath 3 having a tube 32 into which a wire 31 is slidably inserted; and an operation part 4 at the proximal end of the sheath. The suture part includes: a first arm that is connected to the distal end of the wire 31 and that supports a suture thread; and a second arm that is connected to the distal end of the tube 32 and that has a needle-like member which holds a ligation tool. The operation part 4 includes: a slider 41 that is connected to the proximal end of the wire 31; a base 42 that is connected to the proximal end of the tube 32 and that is provided so as to be slidable relative to the slider 41; and slide regulation means 41d, 42d, 43 that releasably regulate the sliding of the slider 41 and the base 42 in a state in which the slider and the base are disposed so that a distal end part of the needle-like member is in a halted state in which the distal end part approaches, but does not engage with, an engagement member of the suture thread supported by the first arm.
