Abstract:

A suture package (1) is provided with: an annular winding conduit (21); a suction hole (33) which communicates with the winding conduit (21) and through which air can be discharged from the winding conduit (21) by suction; and an inflow hole (31) which communicates with the winding conduit (21) and through which air flows in in one specific direction (R) of the length direction of the winding conduit (21), thereby being able to guide a suture into the winding conduit (21), the suture package being configured such that by sucking and discharging air in the winding conduit (21) from the suction hole (33), air flows into the winding conduit (21) from the inflow hole (31), an air stream is formed in the winding conduit (21), and the suture is wound, housed, and held in the winding conduit (21) by the air stream.
