A swallowing function evaluation method that includes: an acquisition step (step S101) for acquiring an image that is contactlessly captured of the face or neck of an evaluee (U); a calculation step (step S102) for calculating a feature value from the acquired image; and an evaluation step (step S103) for evaluating the swallowing function of the evaluee (U) from the calculated feature value.
