Title:
SWALLOWING SENSOR AND SWALLOWING FUNCTION ANALYSIS SYSTEM EQUIPPED WITH SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/195692
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This swallowing sensor is adhered on the human pharynx for measuring swallowing functions of a person and comprises: a film-like detecting unit for detecting vibrations on the basis of positional changes and sounds of the pharynx; an adhesive layer provided on the main surface of one side of the detecting unit for adhering the detecting unit to the pharynx; and a sensing film for transmitting vibrations to the detecting unit. The sensing film is attached to the detecting unit so as to cover the entire main surface of the other side of the detecting unit, includes an adhesive on the main surface on the side in contact with the detecting unit, and is capable of adhering to the pharynx around the periphery of the detecting unit due to the adhesive component. The swallowing sensor is thus capable of measuring swallowing functions with good accuracy.
