Abstract:
A sweeping method and apparatus, and a sweeping robot, wherein the method comprises the following steps: detecting whether a carpet is present in an area to cleaned (S11); when a carpet is present in the area to be cleaned, determining whether avoidance conditions are met (S12); when avoidance conditions are met, avoiding the area in which the carpet is located (S13). According to the provided sweeping method, a special process, such as avoiding an area in which a carpet is located, is performed when a carpet is detected by means of detecting and recognizing a carpet in an area to be cleaned, thus preventing situations in which a carpet or robot is damaged, and thereby improving the degree of intelligence of the sweeping robot, and improving user experience.
