Abstract:
Provided is a packaged coffee beverage having a rich flavor similar to freshly extracted coffee. A coffee beverage obtained by heat-sterilizing a liquid in which a coffee component has been compounded with sugars, wherein the ratio of the concentrations of a monosaccharide (A) and a disaccharide (B) in the beverage ((A)/(A+B)) is 0.025 to 1, and the total monosaccharide and disaccharide content (A+B) is 0.1-10% by weight.
