Description:

Swimming pool

Technical field

The invention concerns a swimming pool with a wall forming with the bottom a one-piece hollow vessel, on the border of which, along the swimming pool perimeter a horizontal rim is provided and the wall of which is provided by outside vertical stiffeners.

Background of the invention

The private-use swimming pools are being built mostly from one-piece skeleton. At the erection of a one-piece swimming pool the skeleton is laid onto a reinforced concrete horizontal surface on the excavation bottom, then the skeleton is fully or partly bricked around or a formwork is erected around the skeleton and the space between the swimming pool skeleton and the formwork is gradually filled with a concrete mixture. The empty space of the excavation outside the bricked backing of the swimming pool skeleton or concrete wall is backfilled with soil, which is compacted by vibrating and rolling. This procedure is time- and money- demanding and requires considerable experience. In spite of this it occurs frequently that the skeleton backing or the concrete wall are not sized, performed or secured sufficiently or the surrounding soil is not compacted sufficiently and at the swimming pool filling the swimming pool skeleton aide wall deformations and visible corrugation of the swimming pool border occur. If. the swimming pool wall deformations and the

border corrugation are of a small scope, they can be optically covered by a horizontal rim, covering the border of the skeleton or arranged along the skeleton edge. However, the swimming pool wall deformations and the border corrugation are not made good in this way but covered only. To protect the private-use swimming pools against dirt form the surrounding environment and against atmospheric influences they are frequently covered by a roof, which uses to be removable to advantage. From the patent application file PR 2.786.798 a roof of the swimming pool of a curved segment shape is known, the ends of which segment overlap the swimming pool edges, while at least on one end the curved segment is seated with help of a pin bed on a turning pin, which is created in parallel with the swimming pool edge on a flat . beam, which is fixed on the rim, arranged along the swimming pool edge, with help of a special hydraulic cylinder located between the segment curve and the swimming pool edge the curved segment can be lifted and the swimming pool surface uncovered. The above arrangement of the roof enables a partial opening of the swimming pool surface only. To uncover the swimming pool surface completely the curved segment must be turned into vertical position, for which a high free space must be created above the swimming pool. The hydraulic cylinder requires a special pressure regulation and the process of the curved segment lifting by turning around the pin of the swimming pool rim must be controlled precisely to prevent the roof damage or emergency at lifting or seating into the initial position, where the swimming pool is covered. The whole aubove equipment is costly, while it can hardly ensure a safe operation of the swimming pool uncovering and covering. Prom the applied design file CZ 7449 a swimming pool roof is known, consisting of more curved segments of different radius, which can.be shifted

along the travel-guiding track, arranged along the longer sides of the swimming pool, and put together in a telescopic way. The travel-guiding track is laid along longer aides of the swimming pool on beams and sleepers, embedded in the surrounding ground. Before assembly of the above swimming pool roof it is necessary to create a suitable surface along the swimming pool , onto which surface on both sides of the swimming pool the travel guiding tracks for shifting of the curved roof segments are seated. The surfaces along the swimming pool must be planar, with a very small tolerance of several mm and it must satisfy high demands concerning rigidity and permanent shape in all seasons of the year. A sufficiently rigid and planar surface for fixing of the travel-guiding track for travel of the roof segments along the embedded swimming pool skeleton can be created on the ground only after a sufficient compression of the surrounding area is made, it is necessary frequently to lay the travel-guiding track on the concrete strips. After the travel guiding track mounting the final pavement is laid or other covering of the swimming pool edge is performed. Hence the assembly of the travel-guiding track is time- and money- consuming and frequently it depends also on the optimum climatic conditions. In some cases, due to high demand for flatness, it is not possible to lay the guiding tracks under the surface from materials, which the user would consider suitable for aesthetic reasons (e.g. non-planar stone, coarse pavement, timber, etc.). The disadvantage of the above assembly of the travel guiding track is formed also by the fact that at assembly of the travel guiding track a coordination of the swimming pool erection is needed, which task must be frequently fulfilled by the client, when the swimming pool and the roof are delivered and assembled by different contractors.

Finally, there exists also the time- and money-consuming treatment of the surrounding surface along the swimming pool, since at the treatment the gaps between the travel track and the swimming pool edge must be filled and care must be paid not to damage the parts of the travel-guiding track and the swimming pool edge. The objective of the invention is to remove the above shortcomings of the existing state of the art and to ensure a one-piece skeleton swimming pool to be covered with a roof, the assembly of which would be simple and reliable and which would enable an easy, safe and reliable opening and closing of the swimming pool.

Summary of the invention

To a considerable rate the objective of the invention is fulfilled by a swimming pool with a wall forming with the bottom a one-piece hollow vessel, on the edge of which along the swimming pool perimeter a horizontal rim ia arranged and the wall of which is provided by outside vertical stiffeners ace. to the invention, the essence of which consists in the fact that on the rim, connected firmly with the wall at least along a part of its outer perimeter, the beam of a circular or direct travel track for the sliding or rolling seating of the swimming pool roof parts bottom edges is fixed, while the vertical stiffeners are arranged between the wall and the rim. To advantage the beam with a circular travel track can be fixed on the rim along the perimeter of a circular swimming pool. To advantage the beam with direct travel tracks can be fixed on the rim on the opposite sides of a swimming pool. To advantage the beam can be formed by longitudinal drawn or pressed sheets, with profiling in the cross section. To

advantage the beam can be provided with a recess concentric or parallel with the travel tracks, while the free edge of the wall overhanging the rim reaches into the recess. To advantage the wall and the rim can be formed by plastic plates connected by welding. To advantage the wall and the rim can be formed by laminated-plastic plates connected by laminating. To advantage the rim can be formed by a longitudinal profiled sheet of angle cross-section, the first arm of which is laminated into the wall formed by the laminated plastic, and on the second, horizontal, arm of which the beam is fixed. The advantage of the swimming pool ace. to the invention consists in the fact that its wall is strengthened both by the rim itself, and by the travel track beam, hence the deformations of the walls do not occur and the swimming pool edge does not corrugate. Strengthening of the swimming pool walls by the rim and by the travel track beam is efficient particularly because the rim and the flat-cross-section beam of the travel track are arranged perpendicularly against the swimming pool wall . The advantage of the swimming pool walls strengthening is combined with the advantage of an easy and reliable seating of the travel track for the sliding or rolling seating of the swimming pool roof parts bottom edges. The travel track can be formed also in one piece with the beam, however, it can be fixed to the beam subsequently also. However, in both cases its assembly is easy one and due to its design the ground in the closest surroundings of the swimming pool has not to be treated in any special way. To fix the rim to the wall and secure its perpendicular position against the swimming pool wall at the same time the vertical stiffener of the swimming pool wall is exploited, which can be created as an independent part or in one piece with the rim. Moreover, further advantageous designs combine the solution acc. to the

invention with covering of the swimming pool free edge. Ace. to the invention the swimming pool does not require creation of reinforced and planar surfaces along the built-in skeleton. Due to the fact that the surrounding soil and surface around the swimming pool have no relation with the swimming pool roof function, various designs of this surface can be performed, e.g. a turf, stone, pavement, timber, etc., with a variable level of the surrounding ground. By mutual connection of travel tracks, the rim and the swimming pool wall ace- to the invention a substantial reinforcing of the skeleton upper edge and sidewall is reached. Due to this fact there are markedly- lower demands for the swimming pool backing or filling of the swimming pool peripheral gap by concrete mixture. The conditions for a simple and precise assembly of guiding track on the swimming pool skeleton are created already in the premises of the swimming pool skeleton producer. To advantage the sliding parts of the swimming pool roof can be transported simultaneously with the skeleton, preferably on the skeleton bottom. Transport of the swimming pool skeleton together with the roof parts, simplified assembly of the swimming pool skeleton, of the travel tracks and of the roof and deletion of many related building activities reduce the cost and time necessary for the swimming pool skeleton embedding into ground and for assembly of the roof. The travel track for the roof parts related with the swimming pool skeleton will find application at roofing of outer swimming pools . surfaces, completely and partly sunken in the ground.

Brief description of the drawings

The examples of the swimming pool design are depicted on the drawings, where Fig. 1 shows the swimming pool partial cross section, Fig. 2 shows the swimming pool partial cross section with the beam with a recess for the edge of the swimming pool wall and Fig. 3 shows the swimming pool wall partial cross section with the laminated-in rim.

Description of the preferred embodiments

The swimming pool 1 ace. to Fig. 1 is shown in a partial cross-section symmetrical ace. to o axis. The swimming pool 1 bottom 2 passes into the wall 3 , which is terminated by rim 4. The wall 3 is externally reinforced by a vertical stiffener 21 and along the swimming pool 1 perimeter it is connected with the horizontally arranged rim 20, on which e.g. with help of connecting elements 33 the beam 30 with travel tracks 31 is fixed. On the rim 20, fixed to the wall 3 at least along a part of its outer perimeter, the beam 30 of circular or direct travel track 31 is fixed. The travel track serves for a sliding or rolling seating of the roof parts bottom edges 41 of the swimming pool 1 roof 40, while the vertical stiffeners 21 are arranged between the wall 3 and the rim 20. The number of travel tracks corresponds to number of the roof parts 41, which form the telescopic roof 40 of the swimming pool. The vertical stiffener 21 is connected both with the wall 3 and with the rim 20, The swimming pool 1 bottom 2 and wall 3, similarly as the vertical stiffener 21 and the rim 20 can be from plastic to advantage and the swimming pool 1 wall 3 can be connected with the rim 20 by

welding with help of welds 7. Similarly also the vertical stiffener 21 can be welded with the wall 3. However, the rim 20 can be formed e.g. by a thick sheet and it can be fixed to the wall 3 with help of discountable connecting elements, e.g. bolts or rivets . The swimming pool 1 horizontal plan can be rectangular or circular and hence it can be symmetrical ace. to plane passing through the o axis, or symmetrical along the o axis. To advantage the beam 30 can be formed by longitudinal flat drawn or pressed elements with profiling in cross section. Ace. to other design the wall and the.rim 20 can be formed by laminated plastic plates connected by laminating. Ace. to Fig. 2 the swimming pool 1 of similar design as ace. to Fig, 1 is provided with the beam 30 on the rim 20. The beam 30 is flat, with travel track 31. Differently from Fig. 1 the beam 30 is provided with a recess 32 circular or parallel with the travel track 31, while into the recess 32 the free edge 4 of the wall 3 extends by wall part 5, overlapping the rim 20. Between the beam 30 and the rim 20 the insert 50 is inserted, which may be from wood or plastic. Also the swimming pool 1 ace. to Fig. 2 can have a rectangular plan and hence it can be mirror-like symmetrical along the plane passing through the o axis or it can have a circular plan and it can be symmetrical along the o axis. The sidewalls on the skeleton outer face are reinforced by vertical stiffeners, in which the openings can be created, through which the horizontal strengthening frames pass on the perimeter. The frames are not shown on the figure, they are made from hot-dip galvanized thin-walled steel sections. The horizontal rim 20 of the swimming pool 1 can be formed by mutually connected and welded-together shape elements, which moreover on the outer side of the skeleton are welded both to the skeleton side walls and to vertical Stiffeners. The upper surface of the rim 20 forms a plane in

which the inserts 50 can be fixed, which are formed by plates of the plastic floor. On these plates the parallel or circular travel tracks 31 from aluminium alloys can be fixed, each e.g. with three tracks for guiding of three telescopic segments 41 of the roof 40, which in extended condition cover the swimming pool 1 water surface and together with two gables form the roof 40 of the swimming pool 1. on Pig. 3 one of further possible designs of the swimming pool acc. to the invention is shown. The wall 3 with polyurethane thermal insulation and laminated plastic is terminated on the edge by bend 6. Into the wall 3 an the bend 6 the profiled sheet is laminated, e.g. from steel or aluminium, of angle cross-section, the first arm 23 of which is laminated into the wall 3 formed by the laminated plastic, and on the second, horizontal, arm 24 of which the beam 30 is fixed. Vertical stiffener 21 of the wall 3 is formed by a partition filling the space between the first arm 23 and the second arm 24. For technological reasons a fold 25 is made on free end of the other arm 24. In all figures the beam 30 is depicted schematically as a planar longitudinal element, on which the travel tracks 31 of cylindrical shape are formed. However, the design of the beam 30 can be very variable, e.g. the beam 30 can be made as a drawn profiled product from lightweight metals or their alloys .
