Abstract:
A switch device for an electric bicycle, capable of being mounted to the handlebar through efficient work and capable of being satisfactorily operated when attached to the handlebar. A switch device for an electric bicycle, comprising: a housing (31) having a first housing section (31A) and a second housing section (31B); a push button (32) having a pressing section (32a) for operation and attached so that the push button (32) can protrude out of and retract into the housing (31); a contact part (33); an elastic transmission member (34) for transmitting the pressing action of the push button (32) to the contact part (33) while elastically deforming; a mounting band section (35) mounted to the handlebar (5) and substantially C-shaped in a side view. The second housing section (31B) and the mounting band section (35) are formed integrally, and the second housing section (31B) and the mounting band section (35) consist of a material softer than that of the first housing section (31A).
