Abstract:
A switch lock device able to positively prevent the erroneous operation of switches such as application switches, a portable computer and electronic equipment using this device. The portable computer comprises a lock device for locking the operation of an AP switch provided on a computer body to which a display unit is rotatably attached, wherein the lock device comprises a sheet member for switching between an unlocked state to enable an AP switch to be operated and a locked state to disable it, and an interlocking mechanism that drives sheet member when the display unit is turned to a lid-close position to switch the AP switch to a locked state.
