Title:
SWITCH MODULE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/145400
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The disclosed switch module (1), which reduces the load on a user even for large amounts of scroll, is provided with a first switch (30) and a second switch (70). The first switch (30) comprises first contacts (31a–31c) and second contacts (32a–32c), which can contact each other, formed in one or more opposing prescribed regions (F1–F3) on a pair of insulating substrates (31 and 32). The first switch (30) can output a signal that identifies a prescribed region (F1–F3) in which a first contact (31a–31c) and a second contact (32a–31c) contacted each other. The second switch (70), which is layered on top of the first switch (30), comprises a third contact (71a) and a fourth contact (72a), which can contact each other, formed in at least one region corresponding to the aforementioned prescribed regions (F1–F3) on another pair of insulating substrates (71 and 72). The third contact (71a) and/or the fourth contact (72a) contains a pressure-sensitive electrode layer. When an input action occurs, the second switch (70) can output a signal commensurate with the input load.
