A switch structure (82, 83, 123, 124) for controlling the driving of an apparatus comprises: an operation-section housing (61, 122) which is held by the operator; a switch contact (90, 91) which is provided within the operation-section housing (61, 122); and a switch operation section (87, 132) which is provided with a push receiving section (97, 136) pushed by the user and operates the switch contact (90, 91) between the open position and the closed position. The switch structure (82, 83, 123, 124) is also provided with a support section (88, 133) which supports the push receiving section (97, 136) in such a manner that the push receiving section can tilt relative to the operation-section housing (61, 122) about the tilt center (O) within the operation-section housing (61, 122). When the push receiving section (97, 136) is in a tilted state and when the push receiving section (97, 136) is in a neutral state in which the push receiving section (97, 136) is not being tilted, the support section (88, 133) supports the push receiving section (97, 136) so as to allow the user to push in the push receiving section (97, 136) in the direction toward the tilt center (O).
