Abstract:
The objective of the invention is to pass or block alternating current signals over a wide bandwidth using a low electric power and with low distortion. A switch unit which conducts or disconnects an alternating current signal is characterized by including a first diode and a second diode which are disposed in mutually opposite directions relative to a conduction path of the alternating current signal, wherein the flow of a forward direction bias current through the second diode, by way of the first diode, causes the alternating current signal to be conducted, and the alternating current signal is disconnected by the forward direction bias current not flowing through the first diode or the second diode.
