Abstract:
Disclosed is a switch such that assembly costs can be reduced by reducing the number of components and simplifying assembly. The switch (100) has a switch knob (11), a housing (13) which supports the switch knob (11) so that the switch knob (11) can be pushed freely, pushpins (15) which are pressed down in conjunction with the switch knob (11) when the switch knob (11) is pushed, and rubber contacts (17) which elastically deform when the pushpins (15) are pressed down. The switch conductively connects the circuit when the conductive part of one of the rubber contacts (17) makes contact. The circuit is formed from a conductor in which a plurality of wires (19) are arranged in parallel, and the ends of the wires (19) protrude as a male tab from a connector port (25a) provided on the housing (13). The part of the wires (19) that makes contact with the conductive parts forms a fixed contact, and both sides of the fixed contact are fixed so as to be sandwiched against the housing (13).
