Abstract:
The objective of the invention is to extend the lifespan of a cover. This switch (100) comprises: a case (8) having an opening (80); an elastomeric cover (91) covering the opening (80) and formed so as to bulge to the outer side of the case (8); a push rod (11) provided so as to protrude from the interior of the case (8) to the interior of the cover (91) through the opening (80), and be movable in such way as to advance from the opening (80) toward the interior of the cover (91) and retreat from the cover (91) toward the opening (80); a biasing part (2) biasing the push rod (11) in the direction of advancement from the opening (80) to the interior of the cover (91); a fixed contact piece (5) provided inside the case (8); a mobile contact piece (4) moving along with the push rod (11) thereby coming into contact with or separating from the fixed contact piece (5); and a friction contact member (6) which is provided on the inner surface of the cover (8) and comes into contact with the front end of the push rod (11).
