Abstract:
A switching device mounted in a vehicle and disposed between a storage battery and a connector that is connected to a DC power source, said switching device including a transmission path that connects the connector and the storage battery, a solid-state relay provided in the transmission path, a switch provided in the transmission path, a first sensor that measures the current flowing through the solid-state relay or the voltage of the solid-state relay, and a control unit that controls the switching on and off of the solid-state relay, said switch being controlled by an external control signal, and said control unit controlling the solid-state relay on the basis of the control signal and a measured value from the first sensor.
