Abstract:
A switching device (1) comprises a supporting structure (3), a position-holding unit (4), and a detecting unit (5). The supporting structure (3) supports an operation unit (2) so as to be capable of moving in the vertical direction. The position-holding unit (4) holds the operation unit (2) in a steady position. The detecting unit (5) detects that the operation unit (2) is press-fitted into a press-fitting position. An opposite section (33) of the supporting structure (3) is provided over an operation end section (22) that is a side end section of the operation unit (2). A plate-shaped magnetic member (42) is provided in the opposite section (33). Bottom side and top side regions (421, 422) are formed on a bottom surface of the magnetic member, the bottom side and top side regions (421, 422) having different heights. The operation end section (22) comprises first and second attachment positions to which the magnetic member (41) can be attached. The first and second attachment positions face the bottom and top side region (421, 422), respectively. The press-fit amount is thereby made to differ depending on the attachment position of the magnetic member (42), the press-fit amount being the void width between the magnetic members when the operation unit (2) is positioned at the press-fit position. As a result, it becomes possible to easily change the press-fit amount of the operation unit (2) using a common component.
