Abstract:
Provided are a switching method, a terminal and a base station. A time point at which a terminal sends a switching time point to a base station is at least a first duration ahead of the switching time point. The first duration is the duration required by the base station to establish channel resources between the terminal and a target satellite, and the target satellite is the next satellite that covers the position where the terminal is located. Hence, after receiving the switching time point sent by the terminal, the base station has enough time to establish the channel resources between the terminal and the target satellite, such that it can be ensured that, after the terminal moves to a cell that is covered by the target satellite, the terminal can use the target satellite to perform communication, thereby keeping communication uninterrupted. Moreover, at the switching time point, the terminal and the base station execute switching simultaneously without notifying the other end from one end, thereby avoiding the delay of signaling transmission and a large amount of signaling interaction, and ensuring that the communication of the terminal is uninterrupted.
