Abstract:
A switching-mode power supply includes: a first converter (3); a second converter (4); a series resonance circuit (1); and a control circuit (11). The first converter (3) is equipped with: switching elements (Q11, Q12) connected in series to both ends of a DC power source (Vin); a transformer (T1) having an auxiliary winding (Na1), a primary winding (Np1), and secondary windings (Ns11, Ns12); a capacitor (Ci1); and diodes (D11, D12) for rectifying voltage generated in the secondary windings (Ns11, Ns12).  The primary winding (Np1) and the capacitor (Ci1) are connected in series to both ends of the switching element (Q12). The second converter (4) is equipped with: switching elements (Q21, Q22) connected in series to both ends of the DC power source (Vin); a transformer (T2) having a primary winding (Np2) and secondary windings (Ns21, Ns22); a capacitor (Ci2); and diodes (D21, D22) for rectifying voltage generated in the secondary windings (Ns21, Ns22).  The first winding (Np2) and the capacitor (Ci2) are connected in series to both ends of the switching element (Q22). The DC resonance circuit (1) is equipped with: a resonance reactor (L1) and a resonance capacitor (C1) connected in series to the auxiliary winding (Na1). The control circuit (11) turns ON/OFF the switching elements (Q21, Q22) in accordance with the current flowing in the series resonance circuit (1).
