Abstract:
A valve controller assembly (10) includes a first switch (12A) that generates a first input signal (14) based on an operational parameter of a control valve (16), and a docking assembly (20) is communicatively coupled to the first switch (12A). A switching module (22) is removably secured to and communicatively coupled to the docking assembly (20) such that the first switch (12A) is communicatively coupled to the switching module (22) when the switching module (22) is secured to the docking member. The switching module (22) includes a first emulation circuit (24) adapted to receive the first input signal (14), process the first input signal (14), and output a first output signal (26) that is different than the first input signal (14).
