Abstract:
The objective of the invention is to increase the efficiency of a switching power source device 1. The switching power source device 1 is provided with a layered transformer 30 comprising: a primary winding 31 having a plurality of first conductive coil layers 31e; and secondary windings 32, 33, each having a plurality of second conductive coil layers 32e, 33e. The plurality of first conductive coil layers 31e and the plurality of second conductive coil layers 32e, 33e are layered via insulation layers 31c, 32c, 33c, respectively, and the primary winding 31 and the secondary windings 32, 33 are coupled electromagnetically with an iron core 34 interposed therebetween. On the basis of the loss occurring due to current flowing out of the inter-winding capacitances 47, 49 between the primary winding 31 and the secondary windings 32, 33, respectively, and the copper loss from the primary winding 31 and the secondary windings 32, 33 due to negatively charging current, a layer position for loose electromagnetic coupling between the primary winding 31 and the secondary windings 32, 33 is set in such a manner as to minimize the overall losses.
