Title:
SWITCHING POWER SUPPLY APPARATUS, AND SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/158282
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a switching power supply apparatus, wherein a power supply can be restarted in stable state even upon momentary power interruptions such as power outages, enabling a stable power supply operation to be achieved. The switching power supply apparatus (100) is provided with: an overload protection circuit (22) that detects an overload state, and inhibits the amount of power to be supplied to a load (6); an output voltage detection circuit (error amplifier (11)) that detects the output voltage (VO) to be supplied to the load (6) via a transformer (3); and an overload protection function stopping circuit (the error amplifier (11), an output voltage detection comparator (31), a reference voltage source (32), and a maximum-duty detection circuit (10)) that detects the input voltage (VIN) supplied to a switching element (25), and stops the function of the overload protection circuit (22) for a period starting from when the detected input voltage (VIN) becomes equal to or less than a prescribed voltage, to when the output voltage detected by the output voltage detection circuit becomes equal to or more than a prescribed voltage.
